Sometimes doing the right thing for a dog means making some really tough choices.  Belle has been the foundation of our program and produced two litters of really nice puppies for us.  She has been my husband's go to hunting dog and she was a real pistol when she was younger.  While we absolutely adore Belle, she would really love to be someone's only dog.

Belle is seven years old.  She has good obedience on and off lead.  She has been force fetched, collar conditioned, and has done many different dog sports.  She has been all over the place and always traveled well.  She is steady in her blind and when she was younger she LIVED to hunt.  She still loves to hunt, but isn't quite as pumped up as she used to be.
​
Belle is great in the house and will gladly curl up with you on the couch as long as you want.  She is crate trained, house trained, and just an overall great dog.
​
She is the boss around here and loves to make sure everyone knows that.  Because of this, she would do best as an only dog to live out her retirement years where she doesn't feel the need to boss around the younger dogs.  She has never been around cats and I won't place her in a home with cats.  She absolutely loves kids and does great with them.
​
Belle is fixed and up to date on all vet care.  She is fully health tested (hips, elbows, eyes, heart and genetic panel completed).  She has always been a healthy girl and has good longevity in her lines.  I'd expect her to have many more years left and I'd love her to be absolutely spoiled in her retirement days.
