Duke is our stud for our program and he is a really special guy. His eagerness to please makes him a great working companion. He picks up on new things quickly and loves to work. This guy has the stamina to work all day and still have more to give. He has gone through his gun dog training and we have taken him on some duck and goose hunts. He is quiet in the blind and is eager to do his job on every retrieve.
Duke has also proven himself as an excellent family dog in our house. He is gentle with our two little girls and LOVES affection. Duke excels at obedience work and has a nice off switch.
He has earned his SHR (UKC Started Hunting Retriever Title), JH (AKC Junior Hunter Title), WC (GRCA Working Certificate), RN (AKC Rally Novice), DJ (Dock Diving Junior), TKN (AKC Trick Dog Novice), VHMA (AKC Virtual Home Manners) title, and CGC (AKC Canine Good Citizen) title. Duke also has one pass towards his HDN (Hydrodash Novice Title).
Duke is proven and is available for stud service to approved females. To be considered females must be fully health tested (hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and genetic panels completed). Structure, pedigree, and temperament will also be considered. Live cover only at this time. Duke's stud fee for 2023 is $2000.
