This is such an nice pairing and we are so grateful for the chance to work with St. Croix Golden Retrievers in Wisconsin to have the chance to have this breeding happen! After Elsie's 2025 litter, I was hoping to find a stud just as nice to breed her to for her 2026 litter and we found everything we were looking for in Enzo!
Elsie is out of our dogs Duke and Belle, and we are so pleased with how she has matured. She has a great work ethic, has lots of natural ability in the field, however she is a great family dog in the house.
Enzo's owner describes him as:
Enzo has high drive and is a very powerful dog. He is a smart, quick leaner and an excellent marker. His pedigree is packed full of FC’s and MH’s and other high level titled dogs. Enzo has a LOT of character and personality and is a complete goof at home. I hear it’s a trait passed down from his sire Joker. At home he gets along amazingly with the other intact males and has a great on and off switch. He is a huge snuggler and bed hog. He is great with all humans, kids, farm animals, other dogs, etc.
Enzo's biggest achievement is to pass the 2025 Master National. As if that wasn't impressive enough, he was the youngest golden retriever to do this in 2025.
This will truly be an outstanding litter! These pups are going to love having a job and would make excellent hunting partners or hunt test dogs. This litter should also produce some excellent performance prospects or be a good fit for active families who understand the activity level and training requirements of a field golden.
Both Enzo and Elsie are fully health tested in accordance with the recommendation of the Golden Retriever Club of America. This means all required health testing has been completed for their hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and genetic panels have been completed.
We expect Elsie to come into heat around February or March. If this is correct and we have a successful breeding, we expect Elsie's litter to be whelped in April or May. Pups should be ready for their new homes in June or July. Our ElsieXEnzo litter is $2700 for AKC Limited Registration.
